About Us
Congress Medical was founded by the Lambert brothers in 1961. Established in Pasadena then moved adjacent to the Huntington Memorial Hospital on Congress Street, giving it the name "Congress Medical Group".
Over the past four decades, we have added orthopedic subspecialists for every orthopedic condition. We now have nine fellowship trained specialists available under one roof. Each specialist brings his passion for specific intervention for our patients’ needs.
We have moved to our current location to 800 S. Raymond St. to house all digital x-rays, including a high definition MRI, physical therapy, medical equipment and surgery center to provide cutting edge treatment and technology at one address.
Congress Spine includes two fellowship trained spine surgeons, Dr. Roy Ashford and Dr. William Costigan. We have added pain management with Dr. Hillary Faussett, neurodiagnostics with Dr. Raymond Gritton, and have specialized physical therapy for the rehabilitation of all spine problems.
Mission Statement:
Bringing the brightest physicians together with the latest techniques for the common goal and singular purpose to provide total patient care.
Dr. Roy Ashford and Dr. William Costigan, fellowship trained spine specialists, perform spine surgery and rehabilitation for treatment of all conditions of spinal dysfunction, sprains and strains spasms, degenerative discs, herniated discs, stenosis, scoliosis, spine tumor and spine trauma. We treat all cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine conditions. We are fellowship trained in all surgeries of the spine, including laminectomies, diskectomies, fusions and disk arthroplasty, X-stop and vertebroplasty. We serve all Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena and surrounding foothill communities.
